Hi, My name is John, aka JMC. Welcome to my blog site. This is where I like to come to express my inner thoughts and bring to life some of the visions created by my minds eye. I find the writing of short fictional pieces, and poetry, usually inspired by a single or collection of images, very therapeutic and enjoy being able to share these bits of my imagination with you all. I find the dark and frightening most intriguing and therefore much of my content will focus there, but I have a lighter side as well and occasionally this blog page will see me commenting on, or exploring the optimistic side of my character. While my grammar may suffer from time to time, I only hope that my content will not, and it will leave you wanting more. Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you here often. Thank you for dropping in and looking around. Yes, I enjoy writing about the darker side more. I have always enjoyed being scared, and I also am a big fan of unexpected twists. But, I do have times when I need to just reflect, or creatively rant on something weighing heavy on my mind. Lately that seems to be our global mistreatment. Anyway, I hope you enjoy what you find here and return often. The door to my dark and creative mind is always open.

It seems we may have some things in common since I also have a
lighter side, but a darker one as well…my dark muse…quite
insatiable they can be…LOL
I have just come from your site and I feel we have more in common than you may even know. The pull to the darker themes has always been a creative muse, and I am also intrigued by the paranormal and all things that lurk in the shadows.
