Such a relief to feel familiar ground under foot
A heart lifted by the comfort of my old haunts
Called back to be where I belong once again
Freed from chains of daunting oppressive taunts
My journey has taken me places filled with fear
Fear overtaken by the wild flames of desire
Unknown places spread wide with possibility
Overcoming every test by water, air, and fire
Returning with a resolve as hard as forged steel
To face this old world with a passion renewed
Newly opened eyes to such a different sight
Strange satisfaction in sameness being viewed
So challenge not this noble warriors resolve
As I have returned to survey my Kingdom again
Bolstered by the brilliance of my compatriots in words
Now destined to succeed with two hearts driving my pen
