Oooohhhhh —- it looks like the devil has an even more wicked muse. No wonder you write so well. You are forever tantalized and teased and must find some release!! 😉
Thanks. It was a fun write and contains one of my favorite lines I have ever written. That sounds braggish and I do not mean it to be but…..
“She is a subtle drug, bottled in an addictive silken carafe” I was/am so proud of that line. LOL. gawd what an ego stroke I sound like. Sorry. Thank you for commenting, and also for taking some time to peruse my older work. You are a good blogger bud E.
You should be proud!! That is an amazing line- the one before “Dripping with SIN she will eagerly quench your lustful thirst while leaving your head spun and yearning for more”… Combined I could feel/taste the addiction element.
Thanks. I appreciate your insight. I am off to sleep. Be well Elizabeth. Pleasant dreams when they arrive.
XO
You as well.
I absolutely adore this piece!! ❤ It sounds like you're describing a succubus in nature, actually. I love the rhythm of this poem! I was captured til' the very end. xx
Thank you. This was a piece I wrote for a friend a long while before I started this blog. But some of the things I had saved just had to see the light of day at JMC813. Glad you like it and enjoy your impression of the succubus. I always am amazed by the individuality poetry can have to each reader.
Of course! That’s the wonderful and exciting thing about poetry. You write the piece meaning one thing and its left open to interpretation for everyone else. I love that. xx
Wow-za!!!
Fabulous!!!
I must see more of your words …
So glad I’m here!

The Devil is only my Imagination. I assure you my reality is far more intriguing. I’ll just leave it at that…..
For now.
A man of mystery with a penchant for sin and the ability to form words into vivid lustful images —- yep, I’m surely going to hell. LOL
You can hitch a ride with me if you like. I know a few shortcuts. LMAO
Why take shortcuts when it is more fun to sit back and enjoy the long ride. 🙂
You make a VERY strong point. Perhaps my shortcuts ARE the long way around. In a comfortable ride that is adept at hugging ALL the curves.
Sounds like the perfect route to HEAVEN! LOL
That was awesome! Still is.
